With this article you can learn how to build origami mysteries.

-Origami: the art of folding paper into various figures-

Lid of animal box
1. Cut out a square from the downloaded A4 paper.
2. Fold the paper two times to get triangles. The first time, half size of the square. Twice, ¼ size of the square. Open it, and do it again.
3. Fold the 2 angles into the center. It’s shapes like the roof of a house!
4. Turn the paper, fold two angles into the center and make a square shape.
5. Now, fold 2 triangle parts in half. And flip the paper.
6. Fold 4 angles into the center and make a square shape.
7. Fold in half each upside and downside part, between the center line. Now, open it.
8. In the Same way 7., you hold in half, the center line is just between right and left. Open it.
9. Open 2 angles upside and downside.
10. Fold right side and left side parts into the center, and hold it there.
11. Stand the other parts up and fold in to create the box. But don’t fold in “the ears”.
12. Draw an animal’s face that you want on the lid.

Body of animal box
Create it the same way 1. and 2. lid of animal box. The body is a smaller than the lid. Cut the A4 paper to square which is smaller than square for the lid.
3. Fold all square angles into the center.
4. Fold in half each parts of upside and downside between the center and open. Now fold the right and the left side in the same way, open it.
5. Fold all square angles into the center.
6. Fold in half each upside and downside part, between the center line. Now open it.
7. In the same way 6., fold right side and left side into the center. And hold it there.
8. Open the two angles up and down.
9. Fold upside and downside parts in to create the box.

Jump up part in the box
Make 2 belts from the remaining paper. Fold these strips in accordion shape, and combine them. Draw an animal’s face on a paper. Now cut and glue it on the top of the accordion belt. Glue the accordion belt on the bottom of the box.

La tapa de la Caja Animal
1. Corta el cuadrado del papel A4 descargado de la web.
2. Pliega el cuadrado dos veces en triángulos. La primera vez, la mitad del cuadrado. La segunda vez, en ¼ del cuadrado. Ábrelo y hazlo de nuevo.
3. Pliega los dos ángulos hacia el centro. ¡Parece el tejado de una casa!
4- Gira el papel, pliega dos ángulos hacia el centro y haz un cuadrado.
5. Pliega dos partes del triángulo por la mitad. Ahora gira el papel.
6- Pliega los cuatro ángulos hacia el centro y haz un cuadrado.
7. Pliega por la mitad cada una de las partes de arriba y de abajo, entre la línea del medio y ábrelo.
8. Tal como has hecho en el paso 7., sostenlo por la mitad. La línea del centro está justo entre la derecha y la izquierda. Ábrelo.
9. Abre dos ángulos hacia arriba y abajo.
10. Pliega el lado derecho y el lado izquierdo hacia el centro. Y aguántalo ahí.
11. Levanta las otras partes y pliégalas hacia dentro creando una caja. No pliegues hacia dentro las “orejas”.
12. Dibuja la cara del animal que quieras en la tapa.

El cuerpo de la Caja Animal
Repite las acciones 1 y 2 que hiciste con la tapa. El cuerpo es más pequeño que la tapa. Corta el papel A4 con el cuadrado más pequeño que el cuadrado de la tapa.
3. Pliega todos los ángulos hacia el centro.
4. Pliega por la mitad cada parte de arriba y abajo, a ambos lados de la línea del centro. Ábrelo. Ahora, haz lo mismo a derecha e izquierda. Ábrelo.
5. Pliega todos los ángulos del cuadrado hacia el centro.
6. Pliega por la mitad cada parte de arriba y abajo, a ambos lados de la línea del centro. Ábrelo.
7. Como en el 6, pliega los lados derecho e izquierdo hacia el centro. Y aguántalo ahí.
8. Abre dos ángulos hacia arriba y abajo.
9. Pliega las partes de arriba y abajo hacia dentro y crea la caja.

La parte que salta de la caja
Coge las dos tiras de papel que han sobrado tras cortar los cuadrados de los dos A4. Pliega estas tiras en forma de acordeón y combínalos. Dibuja una cara de animal en un papel. Corta y pégalo en el extremo del acordeón. Pega la tira de acordeón al fondo de la caja.

Animalia itxurako kaxaren tapa

1- Ebaki web-orritik jaitsitako A4 papereko karratua.
2- Tolestu karratua erditik, triangelu bat osatzeko. Karratuaren erdia izango da. Tolestu erditik berriz, eta egin triangelu txikiago bat (karratuaren laurdena). Ireki papera hasierako karratura.
3- Eman buelta paperari. Hartu zuri begira geratutako angelua, eta tolestu gorantz, erdiko marraraino. Biratu papera eskuinerantz, eta egin gauza bera hurrengo angeluarekin (tolestu gorantz). Teilatu bat dirudi!
4- Eman buelta paperari, eta jarri angelu bat zuri begira. Tolestu gorantz, aurrekoak bezala. Egin gauza bera azken angeluarekin. Karratu bat daukazu.
5- Eman buelta paperari. Hartu tolestuta dagoen triangeluetako bat, eta tolestu erditik (muturra kanporantz eraman). Egin gauza bera beste triangeluarekin. Eman buelta paperari.
6- Tolestu lau angeluak erdiko marrarantz, karratu bat egiteko.
7- Tolestu erditik karratuaren beheko zatia, erdiko marraraino. Egin gauza bera goiko zatiarekin. Ireki.
8- Biratu papera, eta tolestu erditik beheko zatia, eta gero kontrakoa. Ireki.
9- Hartu beheko zatian tolestuta dagoen triangelua, eta ireki; utzi muturra zuri begira. Egin gauza bera kontrako aldeko triangeluarekin.
10- Tolestu gorantz eskuineko aldea eta ezkerreko aldea. Eutsi hor.
11- Hartu ireki dituzun bi zatiak (triangeluak), eta tolestu barrurantz, kaxa bat egiteko. Ez tolestu barrurantz “belarriak”.
12- Marraztu animalia baten aurpegia tapan.

Animalia itxurako kaxaren gorputza

1- Errepikatu tapa egiteko 1. eta 2. urratsak. Gorputza tapa baino txikiagoa da. Ebaki A4 paperean taparena baino txikiagoa den karratua.

2- Ireki triangeluak, hasierako karratua eduki arte. Tolestu gorantz angelu guztiak, erdiko marraraino. Karratu bat osatu duzu. Egin gauza bera berriz angelu guztiekin, eta osatu karratu txikiago bat.
3- Tolestu erditik karratuaren beheko aldea, erdiko marraraino. Gero, tolestu kontrako aldea. Ireki. Orain, egin gauza bera beste bi aldeekin. Ireki.
4- Hartu beheko zatian tolestuta dagoen triangelua, eta ireki; utzi muturra zuri begira. Egin gauza bera kontrako aldeko triangeluarekin.
5- Tolestu gorantz eskuineko aldea eta ezkerreko aldea. Eutsi hor. Hartu ireki dituzun bi zatiak (triangeluak), eta tolestu barrurantz, kaxa bat egiteko.

Salto egiten duen zatia

Hartu bi A4 paperetan karratuak ebaki ostean soberan geratu diren bi paper zerrendak. Ebaki erditik, goitik behera. Tolestu erditik, goitik behera, eta itsatsi bata bestearekin. Tolestu, akordeoi itxura emanez. Marraztu animalia baten aurpegia paper zatitxo batean, eta ebaki. Itsatsi aurpegia akordeoiaren mutur batean, eta itsatsi beste muturra kaxan.
