Our dream for a long time is that children can participate in the design and transformation of the town. We are convinced of the necessity of his contribution, of his imagination, of his inventions, of his thought in the common good.

For this reason from La Casa de Tomasa we invite you to join this desire and we propose to make a mobile that catches our dreams of city.

Alexander Calder, an American sculptor who was the forerunner of kinetic art, said, “If everything works, a mobile is a piece of poetry that dances with pure joy of living and surprises.“

The town is movement as is life. The ancient Indians of the Warli tribe danced in spiral to celebrate the end of the rice harvest. Jivya Soma Mashe, the greatest representative of the painting of his town, represents this dance in a circular, triangular or square spiral, where all the inhabitants enter and leave it, as in life itself.

In the town as in nature, everything is based on simple geometric forms: the circle, the triangle and the square. Therefore to create our mobile the first, we will draw on colored papers, circular, triangular or square spirals. Then we will decorate them with colored crayons the people, animals or objects that live in the town and move through it.

Once finished drawing we will cut the spirals and with the help of tape we will stick them to both ends of a wooden rod. We can join as many spirals of colors and rods as we want to make our mobile. To finish, we will hang up it in the place of the town that we like it more or where we believe that there are more dreams to realize. And finally, we will strongly desire to fulfill the dreams caught in our mobile.

Soñadores de Ciudad

“Las personas tienen que soñar, si no las cosas simplemente no suceden” Óscar Niemeyer_ arquitecto brasileño (1907-2012)

Nuestro sueño desde hace mucho tiempo es que los niños y las niñas pueden participar en el diseño y transformación de la ciudad. Estamos convencidos de lo necesario de su aportación, de su imaginación, de sus inventos, de su pensamiento en el bien común.

Por este motivo desde La Casa de Tomasa os invitamos a uniros a este deseo y os proponemos realizar un móvil que atrape nuestros sueños de ciudad.

Alexander Calder, escultor estadounidense precursor del arte cinético decía, “Si todo funciona, un móvil es un trozo de poesía que danza de pura alegría de vivir y sorprende”.

La ciudad es movimiento al igual que la vida. Los antiguos indios de la tribu Warli danzaban en espiral para celebrar el fin de la cosecha del arroz. Jivya Soma Mashe, máximo representante de la pintura de su pueblo, representa este baile en una espiral circular, triangular o cuadrada, donde todos los habitantes entran y salen de ella, como en la vida misma.

En la ciudad, al igual que en la naturaleza, todo se basa en formas geométricas simples: el círculo, el triángulo y el cuadrado. Por ello para crear nuestro móvil primero dibujaremos sobre papeles de colores espirales circulares, espirales triangulares o espirales cuadradas. A continuación, las decoraremos con ceras de colores representando a las personas, animales u objetos que viven en la ciudad y se mueven por ella. Una vez terminado de dibujar recortaremos las espirales y con ayuda de cinta adhesiva las pegaremos a ambos extremos de una varilla de madera. Podemos unir tantas espirales de colores y varillas como queramos para hacer nuestro móvil. Al terminar lo colocaremos en el lugar de la ciudad que más nos guste o donde creamos que existen más sueños por realizar. Y finalmente, desearemos con fuerza que se cumplan los sueños atrapados en nuestro móvil.

Aspalditik dugun ametsa da haurrek ere hirien diseinuan eta eraldaketan parte hartzea. Ziur gaude euren erkapena, irudimena, asmamenak eta pentsamenduak behar-beharrezkoak direla ondasun komunerako.

Horregatik, La Casa de Tomasatik desio honekin bat egin dezazuen eskatzen dizuegu; hala, hiriko gure ametsak harrapatuko dituen mugikari bat egitea proposatzen dizuegu.
