The paper cutouts are one of the symbols of Polish folk tradition. It is also a manual technique to create marvelous pieces of folk art. The cutouts have been made for a long time in many Polish villages. Now they are collected in ethnographic museums. Men and women used to create colourfull or black-and-white cutouts which were sort of Slavic mandala for the folks.

The cutout is also an amazing way to increase children’s graphomotor skills. The more they struggle with their own fingers the easier they learn hand writing.

The Polish folk cutouts have been the basic inspiration for Polish pavillion at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. The architects from Warsaw architectural practice (WWA Architects) have made an amazing piece of folk-architectural art.

WORKSHOP
Step 1 / Print A4 template sheet.
Step 2 / Fold along the lines 4 times.
Step 3 / Cut out some shapes.
Step 4 / Unfold the A4 sheet.
Step 5 / Place the sheet as you want – vertically or horizontally, form buildings and leave some space for streets.
Step 6 / Use the small cutouts to create the streets and paths.
Step 7 / Use some small cutouts to fold small benches and place them among the buildings – create some squares.
Step 8 / Put some colour onto the sheets if you want.
Step 9 / Try with another cutout shapes – not regular, use your imagination, cut out some curves.
Step 10 / Play with another cutout sheets using 3 o 4 or more to create a cutout town.

Wycinankowe Miasto

Papierowe wycinanki są jednym z symboli polskiej tradycji ludowej. Jesto to także technika manualna tworzenia cudownych dzieł sztuki ludowej. Wycinanki były wykonywane przez długi czas w polskich wioskach. Teraz są one gromadzone w muzeach etnograficznych. Mężczyźni i kobiety tworzyli kolorowe lub czarno-białe wycinanki będące czymś w rodzaju słowiańskiej mandali.

Wycinanka jest też wspaniałym sposobem zwiększania dziecięcych zdolności grafomotorycznych. Im więcej zmagają się ze swymi włąsnymi palcami, tym łatwiej uczą się potem pisania.

Polskie wycinanki ludowe były inspiracją dla pawilonu polskiego na EXPO 2010 w Szanghaju. Architekci z warszawskiego biura projektowego (WWA Architekci) stworzyli wspaniałe dzieło sztuki folkowo-architektonicznej.

Krok 5 / Ustaw kartkę jak chcesz – pionowo lub poziomo, formuj budynki i zostaw trochę miejsca na ulice

Ciudad Recorte

Los recortes de papel son uno de los símbolos del folklore polaco. También es una técnica manual para crear maravillosas obras de arte folklórico. Se han hecho recortes en los pueblos polacos desde hace muchos años. Hoy día están presentes en los museos de etnografía. Hombres y mujeres solían crear recortes de colores o en blanco y negro, los cuales eran una especie de mandalas eslavos.

El recorte también es una buena manera de mejorar la habilidad grafomotriz. Los niños, cuanto más practiquen con sus dedos, más facilmente aprenderán a escribir.

Los recortes del folklore polaco fueron la inspiración principal para el Pabellón Polaco de la EXPO 2010 en Shangai. Los arquitectos del despacho WWA Architets de Varsovia crearon una magnífica obra de arte-folk arquitectónico.

TALLER

Paso 1/ Imprime la plantilla A4.
Paso 2/ Pliega por las líneas cuatro veces.
Paso 3/ Recorta algunas formas.
Paso 4/ Despliega el papel A4.
Paso 5/ Pon la hoja como quieras – vertical u horizontal, crea edificios y deja espacio entre ellos para las calles.
Paso 6/ Usa los recortes pequeño para crear las calles y los recorridos.
Paso 7/ Usa algunos recortes pequeños para plegar banquitos y colócalos entre los edificios – crea alguna plaza.
Paso 8/ Si quieres colorea el papel.
Paso 9/ Prueba con otros recortes irregulares, usa la imaginación, recorta curvas.
Paso 10/ Juega con tres, cuatro o más hojas con recortes y crea una ciudad “recorte”.

Ebakin Hiria

Paper ebakinak Poloniako folklorearen ikurretako bat dira. Gainera, eskuzko teknika bat ere bada artelan folkloriko ederrak sortzeko. Poloniako herrietan ebakinak egin izan dira duela urte askotik. Gaur egun, etnografia museoetan daude. Gizon-emakumeek koloretako edo zuri-beltzeko ebakinak sortu ohi zituzten eta mandala eslaviar modukoak ziren.

Halaber, grafomotrizitate gaitasuna hobetzeko modu ona dira ebakinak. Haurrek zenbat eta gehiago praktikatu hatzekin, orduan eta errazago ikasiko dute idazten.
