“Close, close your eyes” Andrew asked Tatiana as they played and passed through the penetrable structure built by them. “Close, close your eyes” is a beautiful expression to pronounce just when your imagination is getting ready to blast off and travel to other dimensions, other places and other times using a penetrable as the transportation vessel. “Close, close your eyes” is an invitation to find new things, explore known and unknown worlds, it is the opportunity to overcome barriers and experience the synapses connecting memory and dreams, in the spaces between the material and abstract. It is also the decision to overcome fear in the company of someone we trust, “my friends”. Poetry in a phrase, something that occurs in an ordinary moment in a child’s life during the joy and complicity of the collective game.

When building a penetrable, the paper and its size and become pure matter. The paper is explored through its shape, color, bendiness, sound and smell. The rules of different sizes are used to uncover its correct size. Stripes are drawn with markers and then cut out and stuck together with glue. Long strips of paper were placed on a low branch of a tree to create the penetrable.

This was a play space for everyone. The imagination and desire of children transform the role of matter into space. It is a fascinating experience that strengthens the bonds of collective identity where the imagination and capacity of learning of the children charge their realities with senses. “Close, close your eyes” let’s play, let’s inhabit.

The paper is a mediator for learning, allowing the child to engage in curious and creative exploration. This is how the imagination of the children builds form, draws imaginary lines, adds spatiality, language, movement, gestures … “Close, close your eyes” … and life was created.

Cierra, cierra los ojos

“Cierra, cierra los ojos” invitaba Andrés a Tatiana mientras jugaban pasando por una cortina-penetrable construida por ellos. “Cierra, cierra los ojos” es una bella expresión en un momento en el que al parecer se detona la imaginación para pasar a otras dimensiones, otros lugares y otros tiempos a través de una cortina. “Cierra, cierra los ojos” es la invitación para encontrar cosas nuevas, explorar mundos conocidos o desconocidos, es la oportunidad de traspasar barreras y vivir conexiones entre la memoria y los sueños, entre lo matérico y lo abstracto. También es la decisión de superar el miedo en compañía de alguien en quien confiamos: “mis amigos”. Poética en una frase, que surge en un momento cotidiano en la vida del niño, en la alegría y complicidad del juego colectivo.

Para construir una cortina-penetrable, el papel y su tamaño se tornan pura materia. El papel se explora por su forma, color, plegado, sonido y olor. Con reglas de diferentes tamaños, se definió su tamaño. Con plumones se trazaron rayas para cortarlas y unirlas con pegamento. Líneas largas de papel se ubicaron en una rama baja de un árbol. Se hizo de éste, un espacio de juego para todos.

La imaginación y el deseo de los niños transforman el papel de materia a espacio. Una experiencia fascinante que fortalece los lazos de identidad del colectivo, donde la imaginación y el aprendizaje de los niños cargan de sentido sus realidades. “Cierra, cierra los ojos” vamos a jugar, vamos a habitar.
El papel es un mediador del aprendizaje, permitiéndole al niño la exploración de forma curiosa y creativa. Así, el pensamiento de los niños se hace forma, se hace línea, se hace espacialidad, se hace palabra, se hace movimiento, se hace gesto… “Cierra, cierra los ojos”… se hizo vida.

Itxi, itxi begiak

 “Itxi, itxi begiak” hitzekin gonbidatzen zuen Andresek Tatiana haiek eraikitako errezel zerrendadun batetik pasatuz jolasten ziren bitartean. “Itxi, itxi begiak” adierazpen ederra da, ustez irudimena pizten den unean beste dimentsio, leku eta garai batzuetara errezel zerrendadun baten bidez pasatzeko. “Itxi, itxi begiak” gauza berriak bilatzeko gonbidapena da, mundu ezagunak edo ezezagunak aztertzeko, hesiak gainditzeko aukera da, eta memoriaren eta ametsen arteko konexioak bizitzekoa, materialaren eta abstraktuaren artekoak. Beldurra gainditzeko erabakia ere bada fidatzen garen norbaiten eskutik, “nire lagunen” eskutik. Poesia da esaldi batean, haurraren bizitzan eguneroko une batean sortzen da, taldeko jolasen poztasunean eta konplizitatean.

Tamaina desberdinetako erregelekin zehaztu zen haren tamaina. Lumatxekin egin ziren lerroak, mozteko eta itsasgarri batekin lotzeko. Paperezko lerro luzeak jarri ziren zuhaitz baten adar baxu batean, eta errezel zerrendadun bat sortu zen. Guztiontzako jolaserako espazio bihurtu zen.

Haurren irudimenak eta desirak materiazko papera espazio bihurtzen dute. Esperientzia zoragarria da, taldearen nortasun loturak indartzen ditu, eta bertan, haurren irudimenak eta ikaskuntzak zentzuz betetzen dituzte beren errealitateak. “Itxi, itxi begiak”, goazen jolastera, goazen bizi izatera.
Papera ikaskuntzaren bitarteko bat da, eta haurrari modu bitxian eta sortzailean aztertzeko aukera ematen dio. Hori horrela, haurren pentsamendua forma bihurtzen da, lerro bihurtzen da, espazio bihurtzen da, hitz bihurtzen da, mugimendu bihurtzen da, keinu bihurtzen da… “Itxi, itxi begiak”… bizi bihurtu zen.
