We would like to suggest PaPa, a delirious paper game to approach the Ethical Function of Architecture… Imagine an useful tool to engage with children in a creative and evaluative programme with the scope of creating more “human” schools.

By sharing facts of their becoming aware and unfolding knowledge through differences and social interaction, children will attempt to assess the ethical function of architecture within a bottom-up framework. This game will argue children’s poetic-vision of schools in order to become critical statements for new routes, assemblages and new territories in the field of ethics and architecture.

PaPa means dad in Spanish… we can always ask Daddy when we need!

PaPa is a pragmatic engagement tool that use the concept of learning by doing with a new assemblage: learning by doing and becoming by exchanging, in which this new territory of architecture transcends any original dwelling intention.

About PaPa:

PaPa is a strong statement upon the dominant method to produce space by reflecting on children’s ideas.

PaPa makes evident the possibility of achieving a social goal and therefore introduce ethics, i.e. a methodology that prompts a dialogue between users and architecture within a bottom-up frame-work.

PaPa rethinks the image of the children as active agents able to shape their built environment. The project has noticed that academia puts an enormous effort trying to frame ethics instead of negotiating and constructing it together with the users.

Nos gustaría sugerir PaPa, un juego de papel para abordar la función ética de la arquitectura… Imagine una herramienta útil para involucrar a los niños en un programa creativo y evaluativo con el objetivo de crear escuelas más “humanas”.

Al compartir los datos de su escuela de sus sueños/real, tomando conciencia y conociendo a través de diferencias por medio de la interacción social, los niños intentarán evaluar la función ética de Arquitectura dentro de un Marco de trabajo participativo. Este juego pondrá en discusión la visión poética de los niños sobre sus escuelas para convertirse en declaraciones críticas de nuevas posibilidades, opciones y nuevos territorios en el campo de la ética y la arquitectura.

PaPa significa papá en español … ¡siempre podemos preguntarle a papá cuando lo necesitamos!

PaPa es una herramienta de participación pragmática que utiliza el concepto de “aprender haciendo” con un nuevo conjunto: aprender haciendo y evolucionando a interactuar, en este nuevo territorio La Arquitectura trasciende cualquier pragmatismo reduccionista.

Acerca de PaPa:

PaPa es una fuerte declaración sobre el método dominante para producir espacios para niñ@s y reflexiona sobre la participación de ell@s en la creación de estos espacios.

PaPa evidencia la posibilidad de alcanzar un objetivo social y, por lo tanto, introduce la ética, es decir, una metodología que promueve un diálogo entre los usuarios y la arquitectura dentro de un marco de participación.

PaPa reconsidera la imagen de los niños como agentes activos capaces de moldear su entorno construido. El proyecto ha notado que la academia hace un enorme esfuerzo para enmarcar la ética en lugar de negociarla y construirla junto con los usuarios.

PaPa iradoki nahi genuke, arkitekturaren funtzio etikoa lantzeko paperezko jolas bat. Imajinatu haurrak programa sortzaile eta ebaluatzaile batean sartzeko tresna baliagarri bat, eskola “gizatiarragoak” sortzeko asmoz.

Haurrak, beren ametsetako/benetako eskolaren datuak partekatzean, kontzientzia hartuz eta desberdintasunekin ezagutuz elkar eragin sozialaren bitartez, arkitekturaren funtzio etikoa ebaluatzen ahaleginduko dira, lan esparru parte hartzaile baten barruan. Jolas horri esker, haurrek beren eskolei buruz duten ikuspegi poetikoa azaleratuko da, abagune, aukera eta lurralde berrien adierazpen kritiko bihurtzeko etikaren eta arkitekturaren esparruan.

PaPa hitzak aita esan nahi du gaztelaniaz …. beti izango dugu aitari galdetzeko aukera behar dugunean!

PaPa partaidetza tresna pragmatiko bat da, eta “egiten ikastea” kontzeptua erabiltzen du multzo berri batekin: “egiten eta elkar eragiten eboluzionatzen ikastea; lurralde berri horretan, Arkitektura pragmatismo murriztailetatik harago doa”.

PaPari buruz:

PaPa haurrentzako espazioak sortzeko metodo nagusiari buruzko adierazpen indartsu bat da eta haurrek espazio horiek sortzean duten parte hartzeari buruzko gogoeta egiten du.

PaPak helburu sozial bat eskuratzeko aukera nabarmentzen du, eta, horrenbestez, etika sartzen du, hau da, metodologia horrek erabiltzaileen eta arkitekturaren arteko elkarrizketa sustatzen du partaidetza esparru baten barruan.

PaPak haurren irudia birpentsatzen du, beren eraikitako ingurua moldatzeko gai diren eragile aktibo gisa. Proiektuak antzeman du akademiak ahalegin izugarria egiten duela etika txertatzeko, hura negoziatu eta erabiltzaileekin batera eraiki beharrean.
